Participants will need to bring an empty vegetable or soup can to make their own pioneer lantern.

Join the park naturalist on a hike along the backcountry of Antelope Island State Park and a discussion on the Pronghorn found in the Park. This is a moderate 8-mile hike along White Rock Bay Loop trail. Participants should meet at White Rock Bay trailhead at 9 a.m. bring plenty of water, sunscreen and sturdy shoes. Join the park naturalist on a night hike to the top of Beacon Knob. This is a moderately difficult 7-mile hike with an estimated time of 4 hours. Once up top, enjoy the sunset followed by various fireworks displays from a distance and avoid the traffic jams on your return home.
