Cub Scout Camp Floyd Adventure

Wednesday, February 19, 2014 - 4:30pm to 6:30pm

Attention Cub Scouts!!  Come experience the life of a soldier at Camp Floyd.  The program is designed to complete Achievement 8:  The Past Is Exciting and Important for Bear Scouts.  Tour the museum, march and drill like a soldier at Camp Floyd, and play period toys and games, and take home a Camp Floyd patch.  Cost is $7 per adult or boy.  The program is two hours beginning at 4:30 pm.  Advance registration is required.

Cub Scout Camp Floyd Adventure includes:

  • A Camp Floyd patch
  • Story of Camp Floyd told by a reenactor
  • Marching and drilling with replica rifles
  • Guided tour of the Museum and Stagecoach Inn
  • Discussion of historic newspaper articles
  • Rifle cartridge made of candy

We must have 10 participants to proceed with this program.  If we do not reach 10 participants, you will receive a refund or have the option to transfer your registration to a later date.
