RICK KENNINGTON ART SHOW

Camp Floyd State Park

Camp Floyd State Park is pleased to showcase an art exhibit by local artist Rick Kennington.  An open house for the exhibit will be held March 9, 2013 from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m.  Visitors will have the opportunity of meeting Mr. Kennington, view the exhibit and enjoy light refreshments. Most of his paintings are landscapes and western art depicting life in Cedar Valley and Utah Valley. The paintings will be available for purchase.  The exhibit will be on display at Camp Floyd State Park’s Commissary Building, from March 9, 2013 through April 6, 2013.  Standard museum entrance fees of $2 per person or $6 per family apply.  The park and museum are open Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

A resident of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Mr. Kennington has always had an interest in art, especially drawing and sculpting. He received an art scholarship to SLCC where he pursued his interest in oil painting after which he transferred to the University of Utah to further his education in Fine Art.
