Antelope Island State Park is offering Island Explorations Summer Camps, Viewing the World Through Naturalist Eyes, August 7 - 9, 2012. Registration is required. This camp is designed for children between ages nine (9) and twelve (12). Island Explorations is a fun-filled educational experience where participants have the opportunity to learn about and explore many of the island’s natural resources. Hands-on activities and explorations teach participants about life on Antelope Island and Great Salt Lake. Campers will receive a 2012 Island Explorations tee shirt, field waistpack, pocket scope, field journal, magnifying glass, water bottle and more. Camp hours are from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm the first two days, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on the last day. The cost is $90 and covers park entrance, registration, materials, equipment, snacks, etc. Follow the link above to register.
