UTAH LAKE STATE PARK

NOTICE: I-15 CORE Project is still underway. Provo Center Street Exits (265) are all open, but take caution of new traffic flows at the exits.

DETOUR INFORMATION: Next closure and detour at Provo Center Street Exit (265) will be late spring/summer. This closure will affect northbound on and off ramps, visit the UDOT i15 site at www.udot.utah.gov/i15core for more information.

CAMPING: The campground is in winter operation as of November 1st and remain this way until April 1st. All power and water will be turned off and a portable toilet will be available. Winter camping prices are $10.00/site a night. No reservations, available on first come first serve basis.

PARK FACILITIY CLOSURES: Most of our restrooms and water hydrants around the park are closed and winterized. We have restrooms available at the Visitor Contact Center and at the north boat ramp area.

The south side of the park including the south boat ramp and parking area are closed due to flooding damage. The North Jetty is open. The Lakeshore Nature Area is closed as well due to flooding damage. Repairs to these area are coming and we hope to have most of the flooded areas open for use by summer.

CONCESSION SERVICES: Our concessionaire Alpine Powersports has closed for the season.

BOAT SLIP RENTALS: Annual boat slip rentals will be available at 8 am Saturday, February 4th, 2012. Items required: Boat Slip Lease Form, copy of current boat registration, and proof of liability insurance (for motorboats and sailboats).

The ice in the marina is about 3-5 inches thick in the middle. The edges along the shore line and docks is very thin and breaking when stepped on.
