JORDANELLE STATE PARK

No haze up here! Come breath the clean air and see the blue skies!

NEW RESERVOIR RECORD! Jordanelle's new reservoir record Brown Trout. It is not a Utah state record -( Angling record: 1977; 33 lbs. 10 oz.; L: 40 in.; G: 25 in.; Robert Bringhurst; Flaming Gorge Reservoir.)
But it is the largest Brown Trout caught in Utah within the last decade. It was caught by Matt Carollo, AKA " BrownTownUtah" on a cold, windy day, with a custom hand painted lure.
The massive Brown fought hard for over 5 minutes . It measured 32.5 inches and weighed 22 pounds. The Winter months are the best times of the year to hook into a trophy Trout like this. Keep an eye out for Matts' full detailed story about his big Brown- It will be published in a major fishing publication coming soon !! See photos below.
