DEER CREEK STATE PARK

Deer Creek Reservoir is used for drinking water, and requires special regulations to keep it clean. Dogs are not permitted in park day use areas, in the water, or on boats. Dogs are allowed only in overnight campgrounds. Off-highway vehicles and snowmobiles are not permitted in the park.

Reservoir-

The courtesy docks are now in at both the Main Ramp and at the Island Ramp. Wedge docks will be left in for a while longer.

Cold water boating conditions exit, wear your life jacket! Boaters please remember to complete a Quagga Muscle Certification form before launching your boat, or visit StopTheMuscle.org to complete a year long certificate.

Campground-

Early season camping is now available in the Chokecherry Campground. Power water and sewer hookups sites are $25/ night. Tent camping (sites 31-36) are $16/ night. Extra vehicles are $8/ vehicle. Camping is first come first serve for the spring. The upper flush restrooms in the Chokecherry campground are open. The RV dump station is located near the park entrance.

Reservations are taken from May 15 through September 30. Campground reservations can be made 16 weeks in advance. Reserve online or call 800-322-3770.

Boat & RV Storage-

We offer a secure and affordable RV and boat storage lot at the main park entrance. For storage pricing and availability, please call 435-654-0171.
