Antelope Island Bison Roundup
In case you missed it, here is a short video of last year’s Bison Roundup at Antelope Island.
If you look close, you can see a few riders cracking whips in the air to make noise so the herd keeps moving.
It’s quite a sight to see and the sounds are unlike anything we hear around town …. hootin’ and hollerin’ and the sound of hundreds of hooves making their way across the island.
The Roundup takes place around the end of October. You can come out and watch, or even register to participate!

Mountain of Ice at Utah Lake
Whoa! Check this out! George at Utah Lake just took this photo. It’s so windy that he couldn’t keep the camera still…
… and look at how the wind is pushing the lake ice up onto the jetty. That’s got to be like 10 feet high!
Tent Camping at Snow Canyon
I love camping at Snow Canyon! You’ve got to try it.
It’s so beautiful here with the red rocks, the lava rocks, the green vegetation, and the blue sky.
Keep your eyes peeled for the desert tortoise … sounds like an oxymoron, doesn’t it?
