Planning and Development
Utah State Parks and Recreation is working to protect your state park system today and for future generations. The Planning and Development Section oversees all planning processes, as well as the design, development and improvement of facilities and amenities.
Planning is needed to protect and interpret each park's natural and cultural resources, ensure safe and enjoyable experiences, provide for new visitor opportunities, and develop and enhance facilities.
With the help of park users and community members, we develop resource management plans for each park. These plans guide park managers with resource and development issues. We invite you to attend public meetings, voice comment on plans, and be involved in the future of Utah's state parks.
