SANDY — The 2017 Utah Boat Show & Watersports Expo runs from Feb. 9-12! Here at Utah State Parks, we are gearing up to help provide you with some need-to-know info, updated rules, and even some awesome prizes.
This year, we are giving away multiple life jackets to some lucky winners. Keep reading to learn how.
One of the main priorities of the Utah State Parks Boating Program is providing people with proper education regarding life jacket laws and safety concerns. Did you know 80% of boating fatalities could have been prevented had the person been wearing a properly fitted life jacket?
To help you all stay safe out on the water, this year we are giving away 20 inflatable life jacket at our 2017 Boat Show booth. To be entered into the drawing, you can stop by our booth anytime to pick up a raffle ticket and some awesome swag. These aren’t your regular boring life jackets either; these are the new CO2 inflatable devices.

With a sleek, low-profile design, these life jackets help the wearer keep their full range of motion. Once submerged in water, these jackets inflate to help keep you at the surface and out of harm’s way. Check out the video at the bottom of this page to see them in action!
This year, we will be giving away both the suspender and the belt versions of these inflatables. We will have a total of 20 drawings for the prizes throughout the expo. Check out the giveaway schedule below for info on times.

We are happy to provide these prizes at this year’s event and are looking forward to seeing you all there. Want to win? Here are the rules of the game.
Stop by the Utah State Parks Boating Program booth at any time during the boat show to receive a ticket to enter into the drawing. We enter the ticket with your information on it into the raffle and draw for a life jacket winner throughout the day.
In order to win one of the 20 life jackets you must be over the age of 16, and also be present at the time your name is drawn. You can only win one life jacket per day, so no multiple entries are allowed.
Want a bonus ticket? Of course you do. Here is how to get one. Post a selfie of you at our booth online and tag us in the photo. Show the post to us and we will give you one extra ticket. That doubles your chances of winning!
