PARK CLOSED: Jordan River OHV State Recreation Area

*UPDATED: Park to reopen on July 22, 2016. Visit our more-recent blog posts.

Due to potential health risks, the Jordan River OHV State Recreation Area has been closed until further notice.

The water used to help maintain track grooming and dust control comes from the Jordan River, which has been impacted by the recent algae bloom originating in Utah Lake.

The park will reopen once staff have been informed that the water used on the track no longer poses a potential health risk.

Take this opportunity to #ExploreUtah and ride some of the other 80,000 miles of trails in the state!
